Me and my Dad!

Koba has matured into a gorgeous young male.
He has matured into a large male,
Vet weighed at 95lbs, with heavy bones,
and very little angulation and an excellent conformation..
He has an ideal masculine head, with great expression and correct ear set.
He is very athletic, with effortless movement and a balance of speed and power.
Koba has natural focus and intense drives, he loves to work and has very high desire to please.
He is absolutely devoted to his handler and very intuitive.

Koba is extremely biddable and shows great herding ability,
He has achieved multiple herding titles before his third birthday.
He shows excellent tracking ability, and is a real joy to work in obedience.
He is calm and quiet in the house, he is a great dog to live with and is totally stable.
He loves children, he worships our grandkids
and will do anthing to they ask of him!

Koba has produced gorgeous, big puppies that are succeeding
in various sports as well as being fantastic family dogs.

Koba has a great pedigree, combining West German working and DDR lines on Shep's side.

We feel in the future Koba can take Shep's place in our breeding program
and be an excellent cross with Thor's daughters that will produce top
quality working prospects as well great companions for active homes.

Koba is Cleared by Parentage for DM (N/N),
OFA Normal Elbows and Good Hips

We are so proud that Koba achieved both his
at 20 months of age.
He showed great ability and stock sense
and received very positive feedback from the Judges about
his temperament and work ethic.
Also some lovely comments about his
glamour boy good looks :)

In June 2017 Koba achieved his
CKC HT (Herding Tested)
July 2017
Koba received his
AHBA JHD (Junior Herding Dog)
He received very positive feedback from both Judges.
I was so proud of him!

We travelled to upstate New York in August
to Trial at Spirit Winds Farm, which is the most gorgeous farm!
Koba received his
PT (AKC Herding title)
as well as his

in Sept we went to the Great Pyr club and he received his
(Non-Herding Title)

In 2018 Koba earned his
AHBA Started-Sheep Title
with Two First place finishes and Two Reserve High in Trials.

He also completed his
CKC Started-Sheep Title
with two First place and one second place finish
and two Reserve High in Trials.

In addition He earned one Leg of his CKC Stock Dog Title.

In 2019 Koba finished his CKC Stock Dog title at Woolagon Farms.
He did a great job!

He also passed his first Leg of CKC Started DUCKS!
which was the most fun I have had at Trial...
Ducks are just incredibly crafty and challenging,
so I was very proud of him.

In Sept 2019 we travelled to NY to participate in ABHA Large Flock Ranch Dog
at Spirit Winds Farm. It was a great trial and fun time!
He passed his first leg, so we will hope to go
again next year for the second one.

Oct 2019 we headed to Shepherd's Watch Farms for AHBA Ranch Dog Trials.
He passed two legs to achieve his title.

Again it was a great trial, truly nice people, awesome food and amazing sheep.
It takes so much work to put on these trials, we have to be very grateful
for the time and effort everyone puts in to make it possible.

Koba consistently receives such nice feedback from
the Judges about his work ethic and his temperament.
He always makes me proud of him, and often works double time to make up for my mistakes.
He gives 110 percent effort in everything he does and has a heart of pure gold.
He is truly a joy to work, I really thought I could never love another
dog as much as loved his Father, but I was wrong, as I love him beyond measure.

End of Sept 2018 Koba and I tackled the AD
(12.5 Mile Endurance Bike Ride)
As expected.....his fitness was not the issue!!

He did a wonderful job, and I survived!
Big Thank you to Teresa, who also bravely participated!
She and Navara also did a fantastic job in achieving their AD !
It was a gorgeous day, and Thank you to Saugeen Schh Club
for putting on such a great trial.
Congrats to all competitors.
