Where to start?
WOW, it was a busy year and it felt like I was getting
almost weekly updates about someone's accomplishments!!

Born June 16/2015
Owned by Ed and Marion
Rikki completed her CKC conformation Championship!!
We are so incredibly proud of her!
Its fantastic to see her be rewarded for having an
upright stance and natural angulation.

In addition to her accomplishes in the showring,
she also demonstrated she is not just a pretty face,
completing her CKC TD and well as her CDX!
Ed did a wonderful job of training and handling her !

Junior Handler
Teygin and Harley have been showing in nosework and are doing great.
They have already earned 3 titles in just two shows-that includes 3 high in trials !!
They have also completed 4 of 5 required pre trials.
We are so proud of both of them, Teygin is a Junior Handler and Harley just turned one!

Wild Winds Irish Rogue

CS1-H, CS1-S, CS1-F, RN, CRN (MCL), TKI, HIC
Rogue was another guy that was super busy in 2017!
He was only a year old in March but that wasn't holding him back!
Rogue notched Titles in Agility as well as Rally Obedience, (CARO and CKC),
also earning AKC Trick Dog and passing his Herding Instinct Test!
Rogue first received his AKC Trick Dog Advanced Title in July.
In his CKC Rally debut he notched 2 High in class!!
Then he succesfully completed his Novice Title with an additional High in Class :).
What a good boy and a good Handler!
In Agility Rogue and Pat hit their stride quickly!
In a Trial in Buffalo He ran in 7 Runs,
Qualifying in all 7 , with ALL First place finishes and earned THREE Titles!!
He also finsihed his CARO Novice Title and has earned two legs towards his Advanced Title.
Pat is such an amazing Trainer, I can't say how happy I am that she is pleased with him.
If you see the accomplishments of Pat's other GSDs,
you realize what incredibly huge shoes/paws Rogue has to fill.

Keeping up with Barb and Sage, is a full-time job,
I really don't know how Barb manages everything,
but she does.....and does so beautifully!!
Sage and Barb have continued to add to their accomplishments
in Agility this year, and she is now competing in
4-events at Level 3 and working on level 2 in several others.
We can't say enough the time and effort has gone into these achievements!
They continue in Scent Detection where Sage is trialing at Excellent Level,
while also earning points towards her Championship.
ALSO
They are competing in Rally and working towards Titles in this sport!

"Keya"
SD-S-SP (SDDA), CSL1-H (CPE), CGN, HIC
This is so hard for me to write...but in a happy way.
I don't know how I can express, without getting emotional....
how incredibly Thankful I am to both Barb and Larry.
Keya was returned to us at 3.5 years old, They have given her time and love,
which I knew they would, but I never thought of the amazing things they would do!
I am also always so proud of Sage's accomplishments,
but Sage had Barb and Larry from 8 weeks old,
Keya did not...so their achievements are so very special.
In 2017 Keya passed her CGN, with very lovely comments from the Evaluator.
She also passed her Herding Instinct and showed very nice potential.
In Scent Dectection she achieved all the requirements
for her Advanced Title all on the same day!
She earned 3rd place in both Exterior and Container searches!

and her Started Scent Title "Gold Level"
In Agility Events at Red Barn, Keya came home with 3 Qualifying runs,
including 2 First place and one second place to earn her Handler Level 1 Title!

I had a fun year, I think, although I still have not come close to conquering
my horrific "Trial nerves" I did manage one comment...
"Great Handling" which is now stored safely in a vault, as it is unlikely to repeated!
In July we were out to the Tanya Wheeler Herding Clinic, held by Woolagon Farms,
honestly I just cannot say enough fantastic things about Tanya,
I learned a great deal, and I feel both Tex and Koba did as well.
Tanya is all about your relationship with your dog and I appreciated her insight,
I think both my dogs did too!! I would highly recommend attending
her clinics and would gladly go again myself.
I did have the boys out to several Herding trials, including CKC, AKC and AHBA.
We also travelled to the US for the first time to trial at Spiritwins in upstate New York,
I want to express my sincere Thanks to Gwen and Nancy for their
kindness, patience and support.
The were boys pretty good and tried their best, although we still fight the speed...
I do think overall they were successful, inspite of me and my nerves.

as well as non herding titles,
FDC (AKC) and CGN (CKC)

NT (CKC), HT(AKC) and HCT (AHBA)
Tex was only a year old in March,
so he did really well for a young guy.

it means a great deal to me.

We are so excited to announce that Shep and Lexi's daughter
has achieved her CKC Tracking Dog Excellent (TDX)
This is a fantastic accomplishment that required
a huge amount of work and time investment.

She and Barb had just an amazing weekend!
They came home with EIGHT First Place Ribbons,
5 Qualifying runs and their first two CPE Agility Titles
CPE Level One, CL1-H and CL1-S.
We are so very proud of their accomplishments!!
Barb and Larry have done such a fantastic job with Sage,
we have been thrilled to watch her and hear of her achievements,
and truly Thank them for all the hard work they have put in!

Thor had a busy herding season,
after lots of work as "chore dog" here on the farm throughout the winter,
he was keen to get out and get back to lessons.
We spent a great summer at Woolagon farms in Fergus,
and can't say a big enough Thank you to Steve and Renee
for all their knowledge and support!
We also had a fantastic time at the Leida Jones Clinic they held,
and were thrilled to get a chance to do private lessons
with Roy Sage, who is just the nicest man you will ever meet!
We were so happy when Thor earned his Junior Herding Dog Title
